OLIVIA NICHOLS UNDERGRADUATE

My name is Olivia Nichols, and I’m a News Media major at the University of Alabama with a concentration in sports and a minor in Communications. I grew up in a small town outside of Charlotte, North Carolina — and coming here meant stepping into a bigger arena, one where I could chase the career I’ve always dreamed of.

I work with Crimson Tide Productions, where I help produce and assist with live Alabama athletic events through camera work, graphics, and ESPN+ broadcasts. Being a part of CTP has allowed me to tell stories through sports — capturing moments, athletes, and the energy that makes Alabama athletics so special.

Outside the studio, I’m involved with Kappa Alpha Theta and volunteer at Metro Animal Shelter. I’m passionate about connection — whether that’s through community service, building relationships on campus, or using sports storytelling to highlight the people behind the game.

Sports have shaped who I am, and every project I take on brings me closer to my future in sports broadcasting.
